A Thai restaurant chain will be moving into the premises vacated by Bill's in Muswell Hill.
Giggling Squid is due to open at 107 Muswell Hill Road in mid-2023.
The chain was launched in 2002 in Brighton by Andy and Pranee Laurillard, and has more than 50 branches across the country, mainly in the south of England.
London locations currently include Wimbledon, Kingston Upon Thames and Hornchurch.
Dishes on a varied menu include Jicama Salad and Royal Fishing Boat Curry and Salt & Pepper Squid.
Andy said: “We’re thrilled to announce we will be opening Giggling Squid in this renowned foodie location of north London and the excitement is building as we fit out the new restaurant on Muswell Hill Road.
"Every Giggling Squid has its own personal touch to it, and this latest location is no different.
"We’re creating a beautifully designed space that we hope will bring a lot of pleasure to our guests.
"Our ethos reflects Thai mealtimes, which are energetic, informal, adventurous and where food is celebrated, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone in Muswell Hill to enjoy all Giggling Squid has to offer.”
