A second series of the BBC Three comedy Peacock will be released soon, with Allan Mustafa returning to lead the cast.

Mustafa, who is known for having acted, co-wrote and co-created the mockumentary series People Just Do Nothing, stars as the titular character Andy Peacock.

It follows his life as a personal trainer in a gym who attempts to rebrand himself as a “body-positive” fitness coach.

The first series, which aired back in 2022, only had three episodes but the second series will have six for people to enjoy.

In a summary of series 2 on TVZone, it writes: "Now the proud owner of a body-positive fitness business and in an actual adult relationship, Andy’s life is on the up. Only his ego can mess things up now…"
