A campaign encouraging voters to lend their support in the general election to those parliamentary candidates who back Palestinians’ rights, as well as sanctions against the Israeli state, was launched in Camden last week.
Sir Keir Starmer, Labour parliamentary candidate for Holborn and St Pancras, joined fellow candidate and Green Party leader Natalie Bennett in speaking to a packed audience at the event in St Pancras Community Centre.
Former Holborn and St Pancras MP Frank Dobson also spoke.
The talk, last Wednesday, launched the Palestine Solidarity Campaign group’s “Vote Palestine” initiative, with the group saying: “It is urgent that our politicians support actions – not just words – to secure Palestinian rights.”
