This graduation might appear slightly premature, but for the 17 children who were celebrating starting ‘big school’, it was certainly a day to remember.

Little tots at the Kentish Town nursery swapped their toys for mortar boards and gowns to mark an exciting moment in their lives.

Proud parents gathered at the nursery in Grafton Terrace, off Malden Road, to watch their little ones line up, shake hands with the principal and collect their scrolls.

Administrator Sharon Kirtzinger said: “We had a brilliant day. The rain stayed away and we had a fantastic afternoon with all the families.”
