Dedication from staff and "amazing support" from customers has led a curry house to be voted one of the best in London.
Namaaste Kitchen in Parkway, Camden, was crowned Best Asian Restaurant of the Year (London Suburb) at the Asian Curry Awards 2024, held at Grosvenor House, in Mayfair.
Chef Sabbir Karim and his wife Aneela accepted the award from Minister for Industry Sarah Jones MP.
They were joined on stage by the president of the Asian Curry Awards Yawar Khan, BBC newsreader Samantha Simmonds and barrister Lutfur Rahman.
Chef Sabbir Karim said: "This award is a reflection of our team’s dedication and the amazing support from our guests.
“We are honoured to continue delivering exceptional dining experiences.”
Known for its contemporary Indian cuisine, Namaaste Kitchen blends authentic flavours with modern innovation.
Founded by award-winning chef Sabbir Karim in 2010, the restaurant has a loyal following among politicians and celebrities.
The Camden Kitchen is part of the Namaaste Group, which also includes Namaaste Highgate, which opened in 2021, and Salaam Namaste Bloomsbury.
