A new virtual reality experience in Camden and new homes are among the many planning applications.

Camden Council has received over 64 applications for a variety of developments in the borough.

We have summed up the most notable applications and included them for ease below:

  • There are plans to open up a new virtual reality immersive experience in Camden Town. Eclipso Immersive Entertainment, which already has a centre open in Westfield Stratford, has proposed for a new LED display screen advertising the new attraction at a derelict basement a 213 – 219 Camden High Street. (2024/4186/A).
  • An application was also put forward for the continued use of a temporary retail food store at Camden Goods Yard, by Morrisons Superstore and Petrol Filling Station, for up to 75 months. (2024/4323/P).
  • An application was put forward for 30 Hampstead High Street t paint the shop façade white and add a new illuminated box sign. (2024/4380/A).
  • There are plans to transform 82 Highgate Road from a commercial building to a three-bedroom dwelling house. (2024/4223/P).
  • At 59 Torriano Avenue, Kentish Town, plans were submitted to convert an existing flat at lower ground and ground floors to facilitate the creation of two self-contained flats. (2024/4372/P).
