Photos of the Notting Hill Carnival showcase the joy and energy of the parade.
Linda Grove, who lives in Belsize Park, attended the annual festival over the bank holiday weekend and took photos of the carnival, which celebrates the culture, arts, and heritage of Caribbean people.
"With a whiff in the air of cannabis, I was lucky enough to find myself in the Chapel where the Mango dancers were preparing to depart, and they welcomed me in," she said.
"I have been to carnival many times in London and I have to say, it did not seem so crowded this year.
"I started at the beginning and followed it right to the end, and there wasn’t a single incident, with everybody just out to dance and laugh and have a good time.
"I would certainly recommend it to family to go to next year, it will lift your spirits and you will be not only be pleased you are a London citizen.
"Do take some earplugs with you, otherwise you’ll be in for a shock."
