It’s nearly that time of the year when roads are shut, the steel bands come out and celebrations begin for Notting Hill Carnival.
While it can be a blast to join the festivities over this Bank Holiday weekend, being stuck outdoors will make it difficult to find a place to go to the loo.
And after enjoying the bountiful food and drinks offered at the stalls – it’s likely there will be a point where you will need one!
Some portable toilets are being provided by councils in Brent, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea, and we’ve put together where these can be found on Sunday (August 25) and Monday (August 26).
Brent
- There will be three toilets on or near the footpath in Berens Road, at the junction of Harrow Road.
- Three other toilets can be found on or near the footpath in Wakeman Road, at the junction of Harrow Road.
- Another three toilets will be on or near the footpath in Warfield Road, near the junction of Harrow Road.
- And there will be six toilets on the south side of Harrow Road – by the side where it meets the boundaries of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Three of the above units will be disabled toilets and will be located on the Brent side of Harrow Road.
