Ally Pally is set to round off a summer of music with two bank holiday parties courtesy of Gok Wan and Norman Jay.

The Muswell Hill landmark is celebrating the long weekend with afternoons and evenings of blissful dancing on the outdoor terrace.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Victorian Palace, the music gets going on Saturday 24th August as broadcaster Gok Wan brings his feelgood party Isolation Nation up the hill - following sell-out shows at The Roundhouse and KOKO.

Alongside uplifting house music from Gok, there is special guest Smokin Jo, as well as Angel Lee, Leroy Fish and Mas Que Nada Bros.

Dancers can enjoy an array of street food, ice-cold cocktails and bars for the perfect bank holiday vibes.

Then on Sunday 25th August, club legend Norman Jay MBE returns to Ally Pally with his Good Times Soundsystem bus in tow, for an open-air, all day party.

Dj-ing from a red Routemaster bus, Norman and friends will take revellers on a musical journey through house, rare groove, jazz, disco, hip-hop and drum & bass.Broadcaster Gok Wan brings his Isolation Nation DJ show to the Palace on September 24Broadcaster Gok Wan brings his Isolation Nation DJ show to the Palace on September 24 (Image: Supplied)

The events round off a summer of music at Alexandra Palace which saw more than 50,000 people enjoy performances on their Park stage, with its panoramic views across London.

Local heroes Bombay Bicycle Club’s notched up a full set in July becoming the first act to perform in all Palace venues - Theatre, Park and Great Hall.

It was followed by Ally Pally's own Kaleidoscope Festival a full day of music, comedy and family fun headlined by Soul II Soul and Ministry of Sound Classical.

Then there was a double-bill of Manic Street Preachers and Suede, Tom Odell’s biggest headline show to date, and a massive night with British music stalwart Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds.

The music doesn't stop when the summer ends, with September gigs lined up including Jamie XX on September 25, the Dark Star Orchestra celebrating the music of The Grateful Dead over two nights in The Theatre (September 26 and 27), and an already sold out show by The The who bring their Ensouled World Tour to the palace on September 28.
