Signs have gone up as a new Five Guys burger restaurant prepares to open.

The upmarket burger chain submitted plans to Camden Council in June for two new signs at its upcoming restaurant in West Hampstead.

Pictures show one sign in place on the new West Hampstead Central development in West End Lane - but the building is still behind hoardings.

A separate application also submitted in June was for shopfront alterations including a canopy above an approved window hatch.

The West Hampstead Five Guys restaurant was expected to open in August, but no precise date is yet available.

The burger chain has this week opened a branch in High Street, Barnet.

The chain also opened a branch in Wembley Park in June.
