A person died after falling onto rail tracks early this morning.
Police were called to the line near Kentish Town station today (July 18) at around 5.04am after reports of a casualty on the tracks.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
The Thameslink was blocked for nearly two hours, and Northbound services were able to call at Kentish Town just before 7am.
It took until just before 10am for the service to return to normal with no delays.
