Maze lovers can watch artists create fresh designs on the walls of an installation in one of London’s newest parks this summer.

Brent Cross Town has unveiled a unique mural art display in Claremont Park.

The colourful free maze measures 16.5m by 8.5m, and pays tribute to the 'New London Fabulous' design movement.

Three female mural artists from the UK and Sweden have been chosen for the project.

Morwenna Hall, executive director at Related Argent - the company delivering Brent Cross Town in partnership with Barnet Council - said: "The Maze provides a visual centrepiece and its bold, bright design captures the essence of Brent Cross Town as a burgeoning destination full of possibility, which is becoming increasingly embedded within London’s cultural environment."

The first artist, Amara Por Dios from Sweden, began the live art production on June 27 and 28, creating the first of the artistic panels.

Lois O’Hara, from Brighton, is set to create the second panel on July 27 and 28.

On August 10 and 11, Josephine Hicks, aka Hixxy, will complete the final live artwork

The Maze is open daily from 10am to 6pm until September 29 and is suitable for all ages and wheelchair accessible.

In September, The Maze collaborates with the London Mural Festival, London’s biggest street art festival.

Visitors can contribute to a large-scale mural during weekend workshops.

This installation is part of Brent Cross Town's summer programme - getting underway from July 27, with events running until September 1. It was developed with specialist agency marble.

Workshops in new Olympic and Paralympic sports like skateboarding, wall climbing and breakdancing are set to run Thursday through to Sunday each week.

The programme also offers arts and crafts workshops, wellbeing sessions and sports activities.

Brent Cross Town is also organising a Carnival in the Park and Family Picnic, featuring Caribbean Carnival culture, on August 17.
