Singer Liam Gallagher has angered a conservation group with plans for a swimming pool at his £4 million north London mansion.
The former Oasis frontman has upset the Highgate Society after submitting plans to install a pool, as well as a high-security wall and gates, at his home in Highgate.
The conservation group suggests Gallagher’s plans would "create a most unfortunate precedent", and fears others may be "seriously affected by any ground water diversion".
Alongside the £4 million mock Tudor mansion in Highgate, the dad-of-three also pays £16,950 per month for a Victorian home in the Cotswolds, which he shares with fiancée Debbie Gwyther.
Gallagher previously faced issues regarding tree preservation orders on trees at his Highgate property.
In May 2023, the Wonderwall singer had to apply to the council for permission to trim some of his historic overhanging trees following a neighbour's complaint.
A source told the Sun: "Liam’s life used to be an exciting whirlwind and now it’s become a bit of a drag."
The musician, now a solo artist, recently held his 12-date Definitely Maybe tour, marking 30 years since the release of Oasis’s debut album of the same name.
