A paramedic was taken to hospital after an ambulance on an emergency call out was in a crash with a car
Emergency services were called to Rosslyn Hill, at the junction with Pond Street, in Hampstead, just before 2pm on Saturday (June 22).
Both the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade attended a crash involving an ambulance responding to an emergency call and a car.
The fire brigade was called at 1.58pm and said four people had left the vehicles by the time they arrived.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said they were called at 2.01pm.
A spokesperson added: “Another ambulance was dispatched to the original incident. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and incident response officer.
“One of our paramedics was taken to hospital. We checked over a second person at the scene.”
Rosslyn Hill was closed and buses were diverted.
Crews from Soho fire station attended and left together with the Metropolitan Police and ambulance service at 3.11pm.
The Met has been contacted.
