Three men have been arrested after a fatal stabbing near Edgware Road.
Police were called to reports of a fight in Bell Street at the junction with Edgware Road just before 10.45pm yesterday evening (June 4).
It was also reported that at least one gunshot had been fired.
Officers found a man at the scene suffering from a knife wound.
They administered CPR before the arrival of London Ambulance Service, but the man, aged in his late 20s, died at the scene.
A police spokesperson has said that they believe they know who the man is and are working to inform his next of kin.
Three men have been arrested and remain in custody at police stations in central London.
A number of crime scenes in and around Edgware Road remain in place while police enquiries continue.
A murder investigation has been launched.
