Two brothers who ran a crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis line from London to Northampton have been jailed.
Afian and Iman Chowdhury, aged 29 and 26, were busted by a joint Northamptonshire Police and Metropolitan Police investigation into the so-called Tony Line.
When their home in Abingdon Close, Camden, was raided officers found cannabis, a small amount of cocaine, £730 cash and a knuckleduster, as well as telephone evidence showing their drug dealing activities.
Between January 2022 and March 2022 the brothers were charged with multiple drug supply offences, while Afian was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
Afian admitted six offences, including GBH and dangerous driving in Peterborough on August 2020.
He was jailed for seven years and 10 months by Northamptonshire Crown Court on April 15.
Afian was also disqualified from driving for six years and 11 months.
The younger brother, Iman, admitted four drugs-related charges and one charge of acquiring/using/possessing criminal property, in relation to the cash seized.
He was jailed for five years during the same hearing.
Detective Constable Scott Allan of the Serious and Organised Crime Team, said: “Afian and Iman Chowdhury were involved in the supply of significant quantities of Class A drugs in Northampton, exploiting the addictions of others for their own gain.
“Tackling drug harm and serious and organised crime are priorities for Northamptonshire Police and I’m glad to see robust sentencing of these two men following our successful investigation.”
