A Northern line Tube station was closed temporarily this afternoon after a man tripped and fell.
TfL said just before 1.45pm this afternoon (May 8) that Chalk Farm station was closed “while emergency services deal with a customer incident”.
British Transport Police confirmed that a man had tripped while exiting the train, causing him to fall onto the platform.
It is understood that an initial call out for an ambulance was cancelled, and that the man intended to make his own way to hospital.
TfL confirmed on X that the station quickly reopened, having been shut for less than ten minutes.
