Now’s your chance to find out what animals get up to when the visitors have gone at the end of the day at London Zoo.
A ‘Birds and the Bees’ tour of the zoo after dusk unravels the mysteries of he animal kingdom.
The Friday night events in June and July give animal lovers the opportunity to bypass the kids and crowds and unleash their ‘inner child’ on a twilight trip through the animal kingdom — and even toast the end of the working week with a glass of fizz overlooking the colony of penguins.
The evening tours are a chance to witness the zoo coming alive as the sun sets with the animals becoming more active and a chance to see new arrivals like two baby gorillas born this year.
Visitors can also upgrade to a ‘sleepover’ in one of the lodges within roaring distance of the lions.
Zoo Nights support the conservation charity behind London Zoo for scientists to continue protecting and restoring wildlife in Britain and around the world.
They run every Friday 6pm to 10pm, from June 7 to July 26, plus ‘sleepover’ upgrade, booked online at the “londonzoo.org” website following the ‘events’ trail.
