Tickets are still available for a concert celebrating George Michael's music, with proceeds going to help children in Gaza.
You Have Been Loved will take place at St Michael's Church, in South Grove, Highgate, tomorrow, April 23, to raise money for the Unicef Children of Gaza appeal.
The evening will celebrate the music of the East Finchley-born singer-songwriter with the aim of delivering life-saving supplies such as medicine, nutrition supplies, clean water, and mental health support to the children of Gaza who are caught in the conflict with Israel.
Former UK Unicef president and broadcaster Kirsty Young recently revealed that the Careless Whisper superstar, who had a home in Highgate, secretly donated £50,000 to Unicef in 2016 before his untimely death on Christmas Day that year.
The special guest performer for the evening is Toby Bourke, who in 1997 had a top ten hit with their song Waltz Away Dreaming.
The single was a duet with George Michael and was released on his Aegean record label.
Doors open at 7pm. Tickets cost £15 and can be booked online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/gmtributehighgate.
