A woman has been rushed to hospital with a head injury after a reported assault near Finchley Road.
London Ambulance Service called police to the incident in Lithos Road, South Hampstead, just before 11am this morning (March 29).
Officers conducted a search of the area and found a woman aged in her 30s in a nearby alleyway.
She had suffered a laceration to her head, and was rushed to hospital by emergency services.
A police spokesperson said that officers are awaiting an update on her condition.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries are ongoing at this time.
