A flat above a shop was destroyed and two people were taken to hospital in a fire above shops.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled the blaze above an end-of-terrace shop in Holloway Road, Archway, on Tuesday.
The London Fire Brigade was called at 6.52pm and ten people left the building before fire crews arrived. Two men were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The incident was over for firefighters at 8.28pm. A two-roomed flat on the first floor was destroyed.
Firefighters from Holloway, Kentish Town and Islington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
