A man from has admitted calling an MP's office and warning – “I’m coming for you”.
James Phillips, 46, called up the office of the Finchley and Golders Green MP three times on January 31.
On two of the calls heavy breathing could be heard, while on a third a man spoke “with a London accent”.
The caller said: “I’m coming for you, you c***, not just Mike Freer but you as well”.
Phillips, of Brampton Park Road, was arrested on Tuesday (February 6) and taken into custody.
While in his cell, he “swung his fist” towards a police officer, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard yesterday (February 7).
Phillips ultimately pleaded guilty to making a grossly offensive telephone call and assaulting a police officer.
He was given conditional bail until his sentencing on March 6.
