The sell-out West End run of a marital comedy starring real life couple Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick has been extended by two weeks.
The revival of Neil Simon's Plaza Suite has been a hot ticket ever since the Broadway transfer starring the celebrity A listers was announced.
Running at the Savoy Theatre, the 60s-set comedy sees the Sex and The City star making her West End debut alongside Broderick, playing three different couples who check into the same hotel suite months apart.
Karen and Sam are a long-married pair whose relationship has hit trouble, Muriel and Jesse are former high school sweethearts who seem destined for an extended stay.
And Norma and Roy are the mother and father of the bride, ready to celebrate their daughter’s nuptials – if only they can get her out of the bathroom.
Plaza Suite now runs until April 13, 2024 and although tickets are exchanging hands for hundreds of pounds there is are daily £20 daily lottery tickets for each of the performances a third of the seats are priced at £55 and under.
At every performance, ten tickets - normally located on the front row of the stalls - will be exclusively available for purchase by lottery winners who are randomly selected every Monday for all the performances in the following week.
Winners will be sent a unique booking link (maximum 2 tickets per person) and have 24 hours to pay for their tickets.
The show is directed by Tony award-winner John Benjamin Hickey with a set by John Lee Beatty and costumes by Jane Greenwood.
