A fast food outlet near a pub has applied to sell alcohol late at night.
Milano Pizza and Gourmet Burgers at 128 Kentish Town Road has applied to Camden Council to serve alcohol late at night.
The fast food outlet, located near Kentish Town pub The Abbey Tavern, applied to the council on December 2 and a notice was published on December 14.
The Licensing Act 2003 is a law that regulates the grant, variation, transfer, cancellation and review of premises licenses and club premises certificates in the UK.
Milano would have to pass criteria under this law before it has permission to sell alcohol.
You can track the progress of this application, and others like it, on the council’s website.
