Three women were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.
Police were called to reports of an attempted robbery in Elgin Avenue, Maida Vale, yesterday (November 14) at around 8.50pm.
Officers arrived and saw three women matching the descriptions provided by the victim, who made off.
Three women were subsequently detained and arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery.
At one point Met Police officers were seen at Maida Vale station, and colleagues from the British Transport Police were called over for assistance.
The three suspects were taken into custody, where they remain.
