Commuters were hit by severe delays after smoke filled the platform of a Tube station.
Chalk Farm station was shut earlier today (November 1) after smoke was seen billowing from a Northern line train.
TfL has said that there was no fire at the station, and that the smoke was caused by a fault with the train’s brakes.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called to the station just after 8.15am and remained at the scene for around half an hour.
Severe delays were reported between Camden Town and Kennington due to the “fire alert”.
TfL said they hoped to reopen the station “shortly”.
As a result of the disruption, customers can use their tickets on buses via any reasonable route.
Firefighters from West Hampstead, Kentish Town and Euston fire station responded to the incident.
