Two Camden Market stalls have been told “major improvement” is necessary after scoring 1/5 in food hygiene inspections.
Only a handful of eateries were warned by inspectors from Camden Council's environmental health team that their standards were not up to scratch in the late end of September.

This Kilburn High Road burger joint was visited on September 20 and given a 2/5 and told improvement was ‘necessary’.
While the hygienic food handling and management of food safety were both considered ‘generally satisfactory’, the cleanliness and condition of facilities was rated ‘improvement necessary’.

Found at The Stables Market in Chalk Farm Road, this stall was rated 1/5 and told ‘major improvement’ was necessary after an inspection on September 25.
Both the hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities were given a ‘improvement necessary’ rating, while the management of food safety required ‘major improvement’.
Asador Argentine Steak House
On September 25, this eatery at The Stables Market was also given a 1/5, with ‘major improvement necessary’.

The shop on West End Lane was given a 1/5 and told ''major improvement' was necessary on September 25.
While the hygienic food handling was rated 'very good', the cleanliness and condition of facilities was given a 'improvement necessary' rating and the management of food safety needed 'major improvement'.
At the time of publication, no inspections in October have been published.
The Ham&High is keeping a monthly record of food hygiene inspections within Camden.
The food hygiene scores range from zero - meaning 'urgent improvement' is needed - to five, which is deemed 'very good'.
