An area near the O2 Centre was cordoned off with a “large police presence” in the area after an attack.
The Metropolitan Police say officers were called to Finchley Road on Tuesday (October 10) at 6.30am to reports of a man who had been assaulted.
The man, 34, was taken to hospital where his injures were confirmed as non-life threatening or life-changing.
Officers searched the area for the suspect, but they were not found.
Eyewitnesses say that there was a large police presence and that that cordons could be seen near the back entrance until the late afternoon.
A Met spokesperson said: “At this early stage there have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Landsec, which owns The O2 Centre, confirmed that the front entrance was unaffected and the crime scene did not disrupt customers.
