Househunters with dreams of living on one of London's most exclusive streets could see those desires come true, especially if they have deep pockets.
Property developer Valouran plans to restore Oak Lodge, in The Bishops Avenue - a north London street known as 'Billionaire's Row' - into three blocks with a total of 30 flats.
The construction will consist of a mixture of one, two-floor and penthouse flats ranging in size from two to four bedrooms.
The site in Hampstead Garden Suburb spans 2.5 acres of landscaped gardens, with work scheduled to start in the next few months and finish in 2026.
Valouran said the development will retain and restore the existing building and keep its Arts and Crafts inspired landscaping at the heart of the design, with a focus on native species of "high ecological value".
The planned site will include a central courtyard, communal paths, soft landscaping, and a secondary access to The Bishops Avenue.
There will also be a sunken courtyard garden, gym, pool and spa facilities, along with basement bicycle and car parking.
The developer said there will be "limited" tree removals but any losses will be offset with replacement trees and improvements to the roadside boundary.
Valouran launched in June and has already announced its inaugural site, The Chapel in St. Johns Wood.
Co-founder of Valouran co-founder Alex Michelin said: “Our sensitive, design and heritage-led approach was incredibly well-received by the local planning authority, with consent granted in record time under delegated powers.
"With works commencing later this year, we look forward to completion in 2026.”
