The mother of a young man murdered in a case of mistaken identity is "begging" police to arrest the last three people suspected of his killing.
Aspiring lawyer Sven Badzak was stabbed to death in Willesden Lane, Kilburn, on February 6, 2021, after going out to buy orange juice for his mum Jasna.
He was knifed four times in a "gang-style" attack by six people apparently on the lookout for members of rival gangs on their 'territory'.
Rashid Gedel, 22, from Ilford, and Shiroh Ambersley, 23, from Wembley, were sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 27 years at the Old Bailey on August 3.
Harvey Canavan, 19, from Maida Vale, was jailed for seven-and-a-half years for manslaughter and 15 months for unlawful wounding to run concurrently.
The three others - including one suspect called Lior Agbayan, 20, who fled to the Ivory Coast - remain on the run.
Jasna said: "I expect that he (Lior Agbayan) will be forced to come back to Britain. Other papers have already run his photo and shamed his father, who is a diplomat, so something is going to happen there.
"I'm begging the police to arrest him."
Jasna, who lives in Maida Vale, claims the Metropolitan Police know the two suspects who are pictured in appeal images.
She said: "I'm begging them to arrest them. They killed Sven and two-and-half years later I'm still begging them.
"They are murderers who have already killed and they are free to do anything they want including another murder of anyone they want.
"Two-and-a-half years is extremely long time for such people to be free instead of being in jail serving a life sentence like the others."
The Met would not say what became of the six people, aside from Gedel, Ambersley and Canavan, charged in 2021.
A spokesperson did say: "Officers have made a number of arrests, in addition to those charged with Mr Badzak’s murder, the inquiry continues.
"In February 2022 detectives issued images of two unknown men they wanted to speak to in connection with the murder.
"That appeal still stands."
They said a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Lior Agbayan, who fled the country for West Africa before he was identified as a suspect.
The spokesperson added: "Officers are determined to bring all those responsible for the death of Sven Badzak to justice."
Anyone with information that could assist in identifying the two men should call 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 5580/06FEB21.
