A man has died after falling off a footbridge.
Emergency services swarmed Hendon Way and Cricklewood Lane yesterday (September 5) at 12.45pm after reports of a man that fell from a bridge.
One eyewitness said there were a “dozen” of police vehicles along with ambulances at the scene as there was gridlock in the area.
The Metropolitan Police says that despite the efforts of emergency response units, the man died.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious,” a Met spokesperson said.
Police are also working on identifying the deceased’s next of kin.
Two lanes were closed from Cricklewood Lane to The Vale for hours while police were at the scene.
