With an August Bank Holiday weekend imminent, some people should be aware that there will be changes to their bin collections over the following week.

The bank holiday falls on Monday, August 28, this year, and Camden, Haringey and Westminster councils have highlighted their bin collection schedules accordingly.

Listed below are changes, if any, made to bin collection schedules from the three north London councils for the August Bank Holiday.

CAMDEN

 

Camden Council has said there will be no changes to recycling and rubbish collection days over the bank holiday. 

Houses and flats above shops have specific collection days and people can find out when their recycling and rubbish will be collected by inputting their road into the council's website.

HARINGEY

 

Haringey Council has advised that there are no rubbish and recycling collections on Monday.

Collections will take place one day later, between Tuesday August 29 and Saturday September 2.

To find rubbish collection dates and services, report a missed collection, book a collection of bulky items, sign up to the garden waste service or order a replacement container, go to the Haringey website and type your postcode.

Then click on the 'Look up property' button and select your address from the list that appears.

People can use the Western Road reuse and recycling centre in Wood Greenwhich is open Monday to Sunday 9am to 4pm

WESTMINSTER

 

Westminster Council says there will be no changes to recycling and rubbish collection days over the bank holiday.

As with Camden, addresses have specific collection days and people can find out when their recycling and rubbish will be collected by inputting their street name into the council's website.
