A serial sex offender who masturbates in front of women on trains and skipped trial has been found.
Kolawole Oladetoun, 25, failed to appear last week (July 27) at Harrow Crown Court, where was he found guilty of six sexual offences.
British Transport Police said they were alerted by a member of the public on Tuesday (August 1) and Oladetoun was arrested and taken into custody.
He appeared at the same court on Wednesday and has been remanded to appear for sentencing on August 23.
Oladetoun is said to have exposed himself and began masturbating in front of a woman who was travelling on a train through Kentish Town on October 18, 2020 at around 9.30pm.
The following year on April 14 he did the same while sitting opposite a woman travelling in an empty carriage on the Victoria Line, doing it again a month later in front of a woman travelling from Clapham Junction to Kew Gardens.
On May 29 he deliberately sat in front of a woman on a train to Tonbridge, exposed himself and began masturbating.
Despite her moving seats, he continued staring at her while performing the act, BTP said.
On July 1 he did this while sitting opposite a woman on a train from Hampton Court.
On August 7, 2021 at around 12.10am he approached a woman on the stairs of Hounslow Underground station and sexually assaulted her before boarding an Eastbound Piccadilly Line train.
