Liam Gallagher is to play an intimate gig at KOKO to launch his upcoming 'Knebworth 22' live album.
The former Oasis frontman will play to just 1,500 fans at the Camden venue on August 9, a far cry from the 170,000-strong crowd who attended two epic gigs at the Hertfordshire landmark last year.
The heady atmosphere of those concerts is documented in the album, released on August 11 - from the roar of approval that greets Gallagher as he steps up to open the show, through to the mass singalongs of Wonderwall, and Champagne Supernova featuring special guest John Squire of Stone Roses.
Elsewhere the band deliver full throttle intensity with Shockwave, and Everything's Electric, and quieter moments with Once and Slide Away.
Fans who pre-order Knebworth 22 from the North Londoner's official store by 3pm on July 4, will get access to the ticket pre-sale via an e-mailed code.
Tickets go on pre-sale at 10am on July 5 limited to two per person and are expected to sell our instantly. Gallagher follows in the footsteps of huge acts such as Take That, Stormzy, Lil Simz and Arcade Fire in playing at the Camden High Street club since it was restored and relaunched after a devastating fire.
The KOKO date will be his only indoor gig this summer and he is set to headline Boardmasters in Cornwall three days later.
