Two drug dealers who were part of a multi-million operation have been jailed.
One of the men, Ben Perschky of Oatfield Gardens in Leighton, was arrested as he left a Primrose Hill property on October 13, 2021.
Three vacuum packed bags of cocaine and multiple phones were found in the 46-year-old’s work van, and a search in the property uncovered a wooden desk with a 1.01kg block of cocaine.
A ledger detailing deliveries that had been made in the previous three weeks was found, which stated a total of 135kgs were delivered and £3.2million cash was collected.
Perschky was linked to the drugs supply as 'LU7', the first part of his post code was included in this ledger.
He was charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs and pleaded guilty at Harrow Crown Court on November 12, 2021.
Following Perschky’s arrest, police searched for David Toal, of Waterside in Colney.
On October 20 that year, officers witnessed Toal driving a van in Bedford and the number plate did not match the one registered to him.
Plain clothed officers attempted to stop Toal. However, he reversed the van into one of unmarked vehicles, before accelerating into another police vehicle.
Toal then drove off in his van before stopping and running off. A locked safe was found in the rear of the van, which was found to contain roughly £8000.
The 52-year-old was arrested in Kent on October 22, and he was charged with dangerous driving, money laundering and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs on the same day.
A total of 87kgs of cocaine, 10kgs of cannabis, and £195,000 in cash were seized by officers during the investigation.
The two men appeared at Harrow Crown Court on Wednesday (June 14) after they were convicted of being involved in a conspiracy to supply of Class A drugs.
Perschky was sentenced to nine years' imprisonment and Toal eight-and-a-half years' imprisonment.
