Fire crews worked through the night after a blaze ripped through an office block.
Twelve fire engines and around 80 firefighters were called to tackle a fire in George Street, Marylebone at 6.10pm on Tuesday (June 13).
Half of the roof of a six-storey office block under refurbishment was damaged by fire and several solar panels were also damaged, London Fire Brigade said.
A 32 metre turntable ladder was used to help extinguish the fire and the brigade's drone team helped by providing an aerial view of the incident.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Road closures were in place for several hours by the junction of George Street and Baker Street.
Station Commander Chris Young, who was at the scene, said: "Crews worked in challenging conditions but worked well to bring the fire under control.
"We remained at the scene throughout the night damping down and ensuring the scene was made safe.
"Road closures have now been lifted and we'd like to thank drivers who were impacted that found alternative routes while the incident was ongoing."
The fire was brought under control by 9.50pm.
Crews from Euston, Soho, Chelsea, Paddington, Kensington and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
