Children's half term has come about with activities to enjoy just as London basks under sunshine.
Many people will have free time this bank holiday weekend and pupils across north London will enjoy a week off school.
What better way to enjoy it than to get out and experience some events and activities taking place.
Here are a few ideas:
Alexandra Palace 150th anniversary
Join the celebrations at Alexandra Palace as it celebrates its 150th anniversary with a free party.
The 'People's Palace' is throwing open its doors on Saturday (May 27) with a day of live music, DJs, tours, talks, markets, street food and loads of family entertainment.
Don't miss its ultimate Silent Disco party.
The event will run from 12pm – 9pm. Entry is free with a number of paid-for activities that require booking.

Disability Day Event
Children and young people aged eight and above, as well as adults, are invited to come along to Talacre Community Sports Centre, in Dalby Street, Kentish Town, on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm for a day of free, fun activities for disabled people and their families.
Activities include athletics, wheelchair roller sessions, new age curling, boccia, adapted bikes, trampolining and rebound therapy, gymnastics, football, basketball and much more.
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The Pinner Funfair
The Pinner funfair is back - for one day only - on Wednesday (May 31)
one of Harrow's oldest and most beloved traditions.
First granted by Royal Charter by King Edward III in 1336, Pinner Fair has a rich history spanning nearly seven centuries.
Park Road Lido
With the Parliament Hill Lido closed as contractors repair a burst water main, families can head over to the Park Road Lido in Hornsey.
At 50m by 23m, Park Road is one of the largest heated lidos in the capital, and has been a popular summer swimming spot since 1926.
Picnics
If it's one great thing we're graced with in north London it's our parks, and so many beautiful ones including Hampstead Heath, Waterlow Park, Primrose Hill and Regent's Park.
So why not pack some sandwiches, something to drink and laze an afternoon in nature while the weather holds.
