A man in his 20s has died after a crash in Camden on Wednesday (May 24).
The victim was cycling on Fitzroy Street in Fitzrovia in the morning when a lorry collided with him. Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 07:53am, and London’s Air Ambulance was also in attendance.
Despite the first aid provided by medics, the cyclist did not survive. His next of kin was informed by the police.

Road closures were in place on Fitzroy Street and slow traffic was reported from Maple Street to Howland Street, with congestion continuing on Tottenham Court Road.
The BBC has said that this was the first cyclist death in the city this year. A witness told them that the lorry was turning left when it collided with the cyclist.
No arrests are made so far, but detectives have called for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8246 9820.
