A person was pronounced dead after a “casualty” was reported on the Northern line.
Emergency services were called to Archway station this afternoon (May 16) at 1.54pm.
According to a British Transport Police spokesperson, the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The spokesperson said: “This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
There was initially no service between Camden Town and East Finchley on the line due to the incident.
However an update at 3.10pm said a service is now operating between these stations.
There were still “severe delays” between Camden Town and High Barnet after service resumed.
