A new American burger and milkshake bar is "keeping the buzz" with its launch in Camden.
Shake Shack opens in Camden High Street tomorrow (Thursday, April 27) at 1pm, when the first 100 hundred customers at the door at 1pm will get free treats.
There will also be some exclusive merchandise made in collaboration with South London-based artist Aga Giecko.
The new Shack is set over three floors facing Regent’s Canal with quirky neon signs giving it a fresh look.
Shake Shack launched in the capital in 2013 and have now 15 outlets across the city.
Sarvesh, one of 45 people to employed at Shake Shack said it was the "biggest one in London".
He said customers can choose "from a large number of things" to eat and drink and recommended the vegan burger.
"My personal favourite is the chocolate screw," he added.
Devotees will be able to get their hands on Shack dishes, including the signature ShackBurger, or vegetarian Shroom Burger, crinkle-cut fries, and desserts such as thick creamy hand-spun shakes, frozen yoghurts and a Rockin’ Camden Crunch: vanilla custard, fudge sauce, bee pollen honeycomb and brownie cookie.
Shake Shack Camden is also donating 5% of sales of its Camden Crunch to Camden FoodBank, as part of its mission to 'Stand for Something Good'.
Fans were not disappointed at the launch on Tuesday, April 25.
New Yorker Ibrahim 'Graffiti' Kanu, a model, actor and graffiti artist currently living in Peckham, said: "What a grand opening. I didn't think it would be as welcoming. I guess they're keeping the buzz of having Shake Shack around."
Matt de'Ath had eaten four burgers when the Ham&High spoke to him. "Everything is brilliant, genuinely," he said.
Shake Shack opens Sundays to Thursdays from 11am to 12am, and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 12.30am.
