Authorities have been urged to do more to stop "disgusting" stickers promoting a neo-Nazi group being plastered across Camden.
The Ham&High reported earlier this month that stickers promoting neo-Nazi organisation British Movement had appeared along with graffiti with anti-vaccination messaging, which could be seen in spots along Blackburn Road, Finchley Road and Wedderburn Road.
Now more of these stickers have been seen from Frognal to Kentish Town West station.
Zoë, who has lived in West Hampstead for 15 years, says she has been “fed up” with having to tear down the stickers herself, claiming she removed 15 within one hour.
The woman, who did not want her surname published, claims it has been a “disgusting” issue for months.
The British Movement's website is actively encouraging followers to contact the organisation to receive sticker packs and display promotional images around their local area.
Some of these stickers state “reject multi culturalism” or to “deport illegal immigrants”.
Another says: “Defend British culture heritage and traditions”.
Sharing the new images on Twitter, Zoë said: “This guy needs to be caught and Camden residents shouldn’t have to see these, less remove themselves, because the police and council keep ignoring it.”
Cllr Pat Callaghan, cabinet member for safer communities and Cllr Adam Harrison, cabinet member for a sustainable Camden, jointly said: “The appearance of this racist graffiti and stickers is of deep concern and we have prioritised these for removal.
“It is council policy always to attend quickly to such racist or other offensive messaging.”
They continued: "As well as removal, we have shared the known locations of offensive graffiti and stickers with our community safety teams and the police so they can look into ways to prevent this from happening again.
"Residents can also help us get to these locations quickly by reporting any graffiti and stickers you see via the Love Clean Streets app, which you can download through your app store.”
The Community Security Trust (CST), a charity supporting the Jewish community in the UK, said online: “We hope the Camden Council can assure prompt removal of those stickers.”
The charity was approached for their thoughts on the reoccurring British Movement issue in the borough.
