A care home provider has been ranked as one of the top 20 groups in the UK.
Forest Healthcare, based in Highgate Road in Kentish Town, runs 13 care homes in England including Ash Court Care Centre in Kentish Town.
Other London homes include St Anne’s on Durham Road, Islington, Bridgeside Lodge Care Centre on Wharf Road, Islington, and The Cedars Care Centre on Richmond Road, New Barnet.
According to carehome.co.uk, residents and families have shared glowing reviews to make the group stand out over the nearly 17,000 care homes in the UK.
Amanda Hopkins, the reviews manager of the website, called this a “huge achievement”.
She said: “Our awards, which celebrate the excellent care given by care home groups, show Forest Healthcare ensures it gives first-rate care throughout its homes and we would like to congratulate it on being a top care home group!
“These top performing care home groups are making a profound difference to residents’ lives with compassion, respect and dignity at the centre of their care.”
Amanda Scott, Chief Executive Officer at Forest Healthcare, said: “I am beyond proud of the efforts our team at Forest Healthcare have made to ensure that our residents have happy, fulfilling lives.
“That our residents and their loved one’s reviews help prospective residents, and their families make us their first choice is hugely rewarding.
“We are one team, and together we place our core living values at the heart of delivering our mission to provide a family feel and exceptional care to the residents we serve.”
