Popular YouTuber Niko Omilana will be handing out free ramen in a special visit to one of the chain's branches.
The internet sensation, part of the YouTube group Beta Squad, will be making a guest appearance at wagamama’s Camden town centre restaurant next Tuesday (March 28).
Instead of filming his typical mischievous sketches, this time the prankster is expected to be on his best behaviour as he greets university students and apprentices as they collect their free meals.
Omilana, wagamama’s “noodle union president”, has announced that students and apprentices can claim their free ramen by signing up to the noodle union at noodleunion.wagamama.com.
The noodle union is wagamama's student and apprentice society, offering discounts and offers for students.
Proof of student or apprenticeship ID and noodle union membership must be shown.
The first 60 members to arrive at any wagamama restaurant between 3pm and 5pm will receive one free ramen – grilled chicken ramen, chilli chicken ramen, teriyaki vegan ‘chicken’ ramen.
And those keen to spot the YouTuber should visit the Camden branch in Jamestown Road.
Omilana said: “To celebrate and welcome our existing and new members, as the noodle union president I am proud to announce the ramen rush – a day to celebrate bowls of nourishment for the nation and maybe even a hello from me.
“Make sure to sign up to the noodle union so that you don’t miss out on a free ramen and other epic prizes throughout the year!”
