Heavy smoke surrounded St John’s Wood as a church was on fire.
St Mark’s Church on Hamilton Terrace was alight from 11.19pm last night (January 26).
Originally just part of the ground floor and roof was affected, but the London Fire Brigade then said the whole of the two-storey building became alight.
This story has been updated after the fire was put out later in the early morning.
