Three women and a seven-year-old girl were shot near a church where a funeral was taking place.
One woman, 48, is said to have potentially life-changing injuries after reports of a shooting in Phoenix Road near Euston on Saturday (January 14).
Emergency services were called at 1.29pm and the three women were taken to a central London hospital.
The Metropolitan Police says that the girl was taken to hospital later at 2.05pm and it is believed her injuries were from the same incident.
Her condition is unknown at this time, Scotland Yard have said.
There is a significant police presence in the area as police investigate.
According to the force, the shooting took place in the vicinity of a church during a funeral.
It is understood that the church was St Aloysius Church.
Initial enquiries suggests the shots were fired from a moving vehicle which then drove away.
At this early stage, there have been no arrests.
