Primrose Hill will remain open later than usual so that people can enjoy the returning New Year fireworks.
The gates of the park are currently shut at 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday due to antisocial behaviour.
The Royals Parks, which manages the green space, has confirmed that this will be suspended on New Year's Eve, with the gates instead closing and 1am on New Year's Day.
Primrose Hill will reopen at 6am as usual.
After a two-year break, central London's fireworks display returns.
In a statement, The Royal Parks said: "This New Year’s Eve, Primrose Hill will remain open to allow crowds to respectfully observe the fireworks displays across central London."
It continued: "There is no official firework display on Primrose Hill or in any of the Royal Parks. Fireworks and paper lanterns are prohibited under the park regulations and anyone attempting to bring these items into the park will be asked to hand them over for safe disposal."
Stewards at the park entrances will work with the Metropolitan Police in clearing the park for closure.
The Trim Trail at the bottom of Primrose Hill will be closed from 3pm on December 31 and will reopen at 6am.
The Royal Parks has asked visitors to respect the park and take litter home or place it in bins.
In 2021, weekend overnight closures were introduced in response to "persistent antisocial behaviour".
There were multiple reports of late-night parties and crowds.
The closure was reintroduced in July this year, but reports followed of more antisocial behaviour in October.
Broken glass and upturned bins were left scattered across the park after yobs flouted firework rules in the run up to Bonfire Night.
The London New Year's Eve fireworks display is sold out. Those quick enough to get tickets will have access to a Saturday service on buses when they return home.
There will be a special all-night service on all tube lines except Waterloo & City line (no service) and District line to Kensington Olympia.
Black cabs will be available but will charge an extra £4 per journey from 8pm on New Year’s Eve until 6am on Monday, January 2.
