Children are getting “the best possible start” at a nursery, according to a recent Ofsted inspection.
The school watchdog gave the Liberal Jewish Synagogue Nursery in St John’s Wood its highest 'outstanding' rating in a report published this month.
Inspectors who visited on September 29 found that there was a “rich range of experiences offered” to children and very little challenging behaviour.
They said the school, which has 50 children and a reception class, helps children grow in confidence as they "flourish" and "have a voice".
Children of all faiths are accepted with “open arms” at the welcoming Jewish nursery, the report stated.

The report reads: “The headteacher is an excellent leader. She is highly respected by the staff, who report that their well-being is given every consideration.
“The care and education of the children who attend the nursery are her top priority.”
Headteacher Caroline Villiers said: “Families come back time and time again with younger siblings so they too can have The LJS Nursery experience.”
