A man has been rushed to hospital after a crash involving a car and a cyclist.
Police were called at around 2.25pm on Monday, (April 22) to reports of a car colliding with a cyclist in Hornsey Road, Holloway.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the cyclist, who is male, was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not life threatening.
Police initially believed the patient was a cyclist, but the ambulance service later said they were a cyclist.
A London ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 2:15pm today (April 22) to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist at the junction of Hornsey Road and Arthur Road, Islington, N7.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and took a patient to hospital.”
Roads were closed while emergency services worked at the scene, and reopened at around 6.40pm, Scotland Yard said.
Hornsey Road was closed both ways between A503 Tollington Road and Mayton Street.
The 91 bus route was also diverted.
No arrests have been made and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
