A road is partially blocked due to gas leaks, months after a major leak meant more than 100 people had to evacuate their homes.
Some 50 homes were evacuated in Malvern Road and Malvern Mews in Kilburn after a six-inch gas main ruptured on January 4.
At the time some households could not access their homes for days and some had to wait weeks for their gas supply to return despite the cold weather.
While the issue was since resolved, Cadent engineers have returned to Malvern Road to respond to “two small gas escapes”.
A road closure is currently in place at the junction of Malvern Road and Shirland Road.

A Cadent spokesperson said: “Unfortunately, the road is not wide enough to complete our work with just a lane closure in place. No gas supplies will be impacted by our work.”
According to a listing on One.Network, the permitted road closure is until April 24, however Cadent has said that it hopes to clear the road before then.
