A blocked drain submerged one carriageway of a busy road during heavy rain as the remnants of Storm Debi lingered in the UK.
Firefighters from Hendon were called to A41 Hendon Way northbound just before 2pm today (November 14) after receiving reports of flooding on the road.
London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police helped to unblock a drain, remaining on the scene until water levels reduced.
Video footage posted to X earlier in the afternoon showed cars driving through a large body of water that had flooded the road.

Firefighters left the scene shortly before 3pm, and congestion appears to have subsided since.
TfL contractors also attended the incident, helping drivers through the flooding and clearing water from the road.
Storm Debi was expected to clear away from the UK to the east in the early hours of Tuesday, but Met Office meteorologist Marco Petagna said “wet and windy weather” would linger.
The Met Office extended a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms, heavy rain and severe gale-force wings across London and southern England earlier today.
The forecaster warned of potential damage to buildings from lightning strikes or strong winds, as well as a chance of power cuts, and possible travel disruption and delays.
It said the warning area has been adjusted to focus on southern and southeast England, with the end time delayed until mid-afternoon.
The warning was supposed to be live until 12pm but was later extended to 3pm.
